Radical Conversations About Healing with Lewis Mehl-Madrona, Barbara Mainguy, and Deena Metzger

When Lewis Mehl-Madrona attended Stanford Medical School, he understood that he needed to be educated and initiated as an Indigenous medicine man as well. When he and Barbara Mainguy met, the world of healing was expanded by her visionary perspective on mental health.

When Deena Metzger had cancer in 1977, she quickly learned that Western medicine was not the only answer to meeting disease. She began gathering people to explore the true nature of healing in these times. One way she found was to gather medical people and medicine people in Revisioning Medicine, which Mehl-Madrona and Mainguy also attended.

We invite you to a very rare and intimate gathering of these three friends on the land in Topanga, sharing their understanding of healing in these difficult times.
